Inception
Belmont Knight and Associates were founded in 2016 after experiencing a shockingly bad hiring process when attempting to hire an attorney for another business. The amount of time it took, the “consultation” fees, and the lack of reliable sources for references and reviews were appalling. After hiring an attorney, it became evident that there was an easier way. Researching the industry revealed that prices were artificially inflated, and there are even laws that prevent attorneys from competing in their own industry, keeping prices high and availability of quality services low. Large firms create monopolies for intensive legal cases, while small boutique firms have the customer service that large firms lack. Therefore, the Belmont Knight platform was built out of necessity to find value, save time, and create competition in the legal industry.
